Migaku Word Exporter is a browser extension that helps you export your vocabulary data from the Migaku Browser Extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

This extension:

• Does NOT collect personal information
• Does NOT track your browsing activity
• Does NOT send any data to external servers
• Does NOT use analytics or tracking
• Does NOT store data outside your browser

How It Works

The extension reads your vocabulary data directly from your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) where the Migaku extension stores it. All processing happens entirely on your device:

1. Your word data is read from local browser storage
2. The data is processed locally using JavaScript
3. You download the exported file directly to your device

At no point does any data leave your computer or get transmitted over the internet.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• storage: To temporarily store data during the export process (within your browser only)
• unlimitedStorage: To handle large vocabulary databases
• downloads: To save exported files directly to your device without creating temporary files
• Host permissions for migaku.com: To add the export button on study.migaku.com

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party services, APIs, or analytics tools.
